Sid Miller, Texas agriculture
commissioner, insists "that President Donald Trump does not have a
“zero-tolerance” immigration policy at the southern border." Miller comments
on an announcement made by the Justice Department when they announced their
zero tolerance policy on immigration regarding that children are being separated
from their families at the border. Miller claims that this "was done under
Obama and Clinton" administrations as well. Miller brings up the example
that if there is an arrest/bust in a meth house the parents are taken to jail
and the children are taken to CPS. He also states that "there’s not one
instance in our country, north, south, east or west, where the parents commit a
crime and the kids get to go to jail with them.”
