Rush Limbaugh, a republican radio host, accused the media of creating "fake news" in regards to the recent "Zero Tolerance" policy at the boarder (Folley). According to The Hill, Limbaugh believes the media is using "fake photos of children crying" when presenting stories of families being torn apart (Folley). Limbaugh goes on to explain that he knows there are children crying over this heart wrenching event, but that it isn't the children they present in their news articles. Limbaugh's main concern seems to be the effect this will have on those who don't support the policy stating that the media is doing this to "corral people who are already wimps...when it comes to kids" (Folley). This isn't Limbaugh's first encounter calling the media out on their twisted version of the truth. He also got upset last year for it's "lies and misstatements" about Limbaugh's words (Folley).
