According to The New York Times, In Islamabad, Pakistan, journalist, Taha Siddiqui runs for his life when he was attacked by 12 armed men. Mr. Siddiqui was an award winner of the Albert Londres Prix award in 2014 and is he also known to be a critic on social medical especially towards the military establishment. Pakistan representative for Reporters Sans Frontieres claims that, “It is public knowledge that the military establishment is annoyed with Taha’s Twitter activity. “What has happened is worrisome, but not surprising.” Siddiqui is one of the many journalists in Pakistan who have been affected by the government.
