In a time where fake news is broadcasted into the spotlight by the President, it isn’t pretty when his own daughter makes up "fake news". In a tweet right after the President’s meeting with Kim Jong Un, Ivanka posted a tweet stating "those who say it can not be done, should not interrupt those doing it". It is a good statement to think about and know but the problem came when the public was swift to find out that it was not a Chinese Proverb. She faced backlash from many individuals over Twitter even some calling her out by saying “those who make knock-off designer shoes in Chinese sweatshops with child labor should not quote Chinese proverbs”. Well Ivanka, a little more research should be done when your father is the one calling out "fake news".
