With all the trending fake news stories on social media today there is one that had people cringing in belief that it could have been real. This day and age, so many try to look just like celebrities by getting surgeries to change their appearance, so it is no wonder many thought that an Iranian teenager, Sahar Tabar, had 50 plastic surgeries to look like the famous Angelina Jolie. Photos swarmed social media of the teenager and it looked like she desperately needed to be on an episode of “Botched”. Thankfully, this was just fake news, stemming from photoshop and makeup. The Indian Express reported on this story by interviewing Tabar in which she stated, “to look like someone is not my goal. It is photoshop and makeup. Every time I publish a photo I make my face more fun. It is my way of self expression, a kind of art.” (Tabar).
