Burger King Apologizes


Burger King receives backlash for a campaign that gave regards to Russian women who would get impregnated by a World Cup soccer player according to CNN. The company announced that it would reward women a lifetime of Whoppers and $47,000 if they would to get impregnated by a World Cup player. The advertisement stated, "For these girls, it will be possible to get the best football genes, and will lay down the success of the Russian national team on several generations ahead, Forward! We believe in you!" Burger King later posted an apology after the backlash and criticism it received.
