On Friday, June 15, 3 inmates from the Curry County Jail with the alleged help of Sarina Dodson, a detention officer at the jail. The three male inmates were all held on different charges. One was an “aggravated battery with deadly weapon charge”; another was “several drug charges, including trafficking controlled substances.” The last inmate was held on “firearms, child abuse and identity theft charges”. On Tuesday, a tip was received by the County Sheriff’s department saying that the 3 inmates were “inside a Clovis apartment.” The inmates were taken back into custody after a two and a half standoff with a SWAT team.
