We have all watched the news and have heard the stories of how migrant children are being separated from their parents once they cross the border. It is heart wrenching to conceive a child left without his/her parent. Let us put the blame where it sorely belongs.George W. Bush. The program was started as the Homeland Security Act of 2002 and has been in place for 16 years. Barack Obama had a more brutal program that scooped up the detainees and placed them 1000s of miles away to reenter Mexico. The program was called ATEP. Now Trump is using the old tactics to curb anyone crossing the border. Attorney General Jeff Sessions defended the program. "Romans 13, to obey the laws of the government because God has ordained the government for his purposes." He also stated that if refugees did not like it, do not cross the border. The inhumane law was created by an inhumane administration, approved by an inhumane Congress and has existed for 16 years. Republicans and Democrats are to blame and do not let them blame anyone but themselves.
