Fake
news continues to arise from yet another satire article taken seriously. A
rumor that a Trump
Tower has been built in the capital of North Korea only hours after
the “historic summit” originated from a satirical website called Duffel Blog. The article is described to
be “an obvious spoof on the aggrandizing hype surrounding the Trump/Kim
summit.” The blog has a clear disclaimer on the website explaining that
“Duffel Blog is a parody of a news organization, and all content it published
is satirical in nature.” It is difficult to trust what is true and what is fake
news when the reader cannot see where the information originated from. It is
times like these when researching information is most beneficial. [1 image, 1
