Some people are still morning in the loss of Stephen Hawking as he was one of the greatest minds of the century. He was finally laid to rest today at Westminster Abbey in a corner of the Church where they also hold the ashes of both Charles Darwin and Isaac Newton. According to NBC News, "More than 1,000 people attended a service of thanksgiving in the ancient abbey for the physicist". It's remarkable that he was even able to make it to the age of 76 as he was given only a few years to live after he was diagnosed at the young age of 22.
