Human trafficking has become a huge issue in recent years and the abductors are getting more and more crafty. Instead of grabbing individuals off the streets, human traffickers and luring women in on social media. Seven out of ten Americans uses social media so it makes sense that these abductors are using popular social media sites and dating websites to lure in young women. Margie Quin, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Assistant Special Agent said, "these predators send out hundreds of messages a day, hoping just two or three women respond." Parents need to monitor their children's social media to make sure they aren't being lured in by predators. Quin also said social media is, "a tremendous tool for us in the 21st Century, but it can also be the greatest danger."
