Amanda Bostic, 34, was visiting the Daytona Beach Boardwalk with her coworkers on Thursday night when the Sandblaster rollercoaster derailed. The ride ejected Bostic and her friend from the first car and launched them 34 feet to the ground, the two survived but had major injuries. She said that the ride seemed faster than it should have been and "didn't feel right." It was made known that the rollercoaster had been, "serviced the same day of the derailment." The ride should have been completely safe but somehting must have been overlooked. Many other passengers were rescued from the cars and sent to the hospital. Bostic vowed to never ride a rollercoaster ever again.
