Netflix and Corporate Culture

Every large company has a corporate culture. That culture varies widely from industry to industry, but startups are unique. Netflix is beyond a startup now their culture in some ways emulates one. One example is, "A top Netflix executive has left the company after he used the N-word in front of colleagues on more than one occasion." Many companies would have swept this sort of thing under the rug but Netflix chose not to. This article details the circumstances in which the executive was fired.  This story is very telling of how social sensitivities have entered the workplace. Although this may be more prevalent in Silicone Valley.
