Lack of Promotion causes fake news

A scorned employee is being sued by Tesla for allegedly stealing information and then leaking fake news to the media. An ex employee, Martin Tripp, is being accused of breaking into Tesla's computer systems and stealing technical as well as financial information. He then leaked some of the information along with some fake news in an effort to tarnish Tesla's reputation with customers. Tesla claims that Tripp hatched the scheme after not receiving a promotion he felt he deserved.
