With 21st Century Fox up for grabs after Fox
put the media asset up for sale. Comcast came out with a bid of $65 billion
late last week, which was believed to be the highest bid that would be offered.
Although Disney came out with a new offer June 20, 2018 of the amount $71.3
billion which would make 21st Century Fox be worth about $38 a
share. “Fox and Disney were negotiating terms of an amended agreement over the
weekend and had the outlines of a deal by Tuesday, though they were nailing
down details like the mix of cash and stock”, so with Fox and Disney ironing
the details this past weekend this deal should be ready to go very soon.
