One journalist that I have been following, ever since
I made an Instagram account, is David Guttenfelder (@dguttenfelder).
Guttenfleder works for National Geographic as one of their photographers. He
has lots of experience in his field having spent “more than 20 years as a
photojournalist and documentary photographer based in Nairobi, Abidjan, New
Delhi, Jerusalem and Tokyo covering world events in nearly 100 countries.” This
link, http://www.davidguttenfelder.com/, leads you to his website that has his portfolio and
profile. Meanwhile, I can only say that the farthest I have traveled away from
home is California! Currently, Guttebnfelder is working on a project based in
Tokyo. In his most recent Instagram post, he said “I’m into week two of a
month-long walk across Tokyo, photographing the world’s largest city and
meeting some of the 38+ million residents. On assignment for @natgeo.” The
picture I posted above goes along with the caption. I love his pictures because
they capture everyday life and events that have been going on in 3rd
world countries that people must become more aware of. You all should check his
page out!
