Amazon the past few years has been growing
at a crazy rate! Almost to where its slowly becoming a monopoly. “Imagine
getting your pay-tv service, groceries, banking, insurance, etc. all through
one company. That’s the threat that Amazon poses,” which could allow Amazon to
control markets if the government doesn’t step in and try to offer alternatives
(USA Today). The problem with Amazon getting too big to the public is that its
slowly destroying other businesses. For example, Sears, JC Penny, Toys R Us,
etc. because now all shoppers have to do that once shopped there is go on
amazon and order it online. This could be an issue later on if not taken care
of.
