If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it… right? Well Ihop challenged this popular phrase this past month by flipping the “p” in their logo upside down to a “b.” The company caused an uproar on social media across the web by simply posting a picture of the new logo debuting the “b,” and asked followers from across the globe to guess what this new letter could possibly stand for. Outraged answers showered in, some said bacon, others said breakfast… “and then the revelation: The venerable International House of Pancakes was becoming the International House of … burgers?” Once this news went viral, Ihop lovers screamed out, posting comments about how amazing the pancakes were, the burgers would in no way be able to compare. However, I wouldn’t exactly call customers raving about your pancakes a total fail, would you?
