Recently, Facebook has come out and has stated that they will be furthering their efforts to reduce and stop fake news. In 2016, after a scandal that could have impacted 150 million Americans, the company started news scanning to ensure their users that the news they were receiving mostly fact-checked information. Facebook now has reduced fake news to an average of 80%, and will be expanding their program to many other countries in the near future. The videos, posts and news stories you see, will now be checked to ensure you with the news you want to hear. Will this be enough to end fake news on Facebook? If not, what do you think will happen?
