Bidding Wars

21st Century Fox is up for sale and all the big media companies are going for it. Comcast has made a $65 billion offer for the rights of the company on Wednesday June 13, 2018. Buying 21st Century Fox will include rights to “prestige films such as “The Shape of Water,” which won the Oscar for Best Picture, and “Atlanta,” the fiercely independent show on FX”. Also, the rights to the franchises like Avatar, Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars. No wonder, early last month Walt Disney also proposed a $52.4 billion offer to Fox. The channels like FX and National Geographic are also included in the 21st Century Fox buy out. Walt Disney now has 5 days to make an offer again. The Washington Post. CNN Money
