Fake news is spreading like wild fire to the point that some individuals cannot diminish the lies from the truth anymore. Thankfully, there may be a cure to stop the constant flow of fake news into our lives. According to Quartz, artificial intelligence could "be trained to identify fake news and gather data on sites that are most prolific in peddling it" (Brinded). In addition to limiting the amount of false information, AI could also help provide credible sources for companies to use to share the news in a accurate manner. It is said the fake news is even more on the rise because they are "often financially driven"(Ghulati). In order to help with the issue, AI is responsible for seeking out these said sources and from then we have to focus on "defunding deliberate, proactive news articles" (Ghulati) that are capable of hurting the public and spreading false information.
