Many people have wondered whether there is life beyond Earth. Some have also been curious about a separate galaxy with another inhabited planet. According to NASA, scientists have discovered a Super Earth planet that has conditions similar to our Earth. This would make the planet inhabitable since it has been found in the “habitable zone”. Scientists call this region the “Goldilocks zone” since any planet in this region is neither too hot or cold and is capable of having liquid water on its surface. “The discovery of a super-Earth-sized planet orbiting a sun-like star brings us closer than ever to finding a twin of our own watery world.” The new discovery of a second Earth is called Kepler-452b. Scientists state that “Kepler-452b is more similar to Earth than any system previously discovered”. There might just be more life beyond our planet.
