Three bodies were discovered in Columbia this past Thursday, and officials believe they may be the bodies of journalists Javier Ortega, Paúl Rivas, and their driver, Efraín Segarra. The CNN article reports that these bodies were found in the south of the country, near Cali. The CNN article states, "Colombian and Ecuadorian authorities believe they were abducted and killed by an offshoot of the guerrilla group FARC, or the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia." The families of the journalists and Ecuadorian authorities are traveling to Cali to assist in the analysis of the evidence to see if the bodies will be identified as the missing press team.
