Donald glover aka Childish Gambino released a music video
for his song This is
America which caused a lot of questions.
According to Medium,
“This is America is an indictment of a gun-crazed,
violent society. It’s also a commentary on Black American entertainers’ role in
perpetuating, glamorizing, and covering for the sins of their nation.” The
music video starts off with sweet light music then there is a guy with a bag on
his head and Donald Glover is standing in the Jim
Crow stance and shoots the guy in the head then places in gun nicely in
another guys hand then wraps the gun in a cloth while the guy that got shot is
being dragged away. All in two second of that scene it shows the sad truth
about reality. Throughout the whole music video if you pay attention really closely
it shows details about the reality of the world we live in. It is a 10/10 recommend
song to listen to and I highly recommend watching the music video. [1 image, 4
