Lynsey Addario (@lynseyaddario) is a photojournalist who has worked for The New York Times, National Geographic, and the Time Magazine. According to her biography, "Addario has spent the last four years documenting the plight of Syrian refugees in Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, and Iraq for The New York Times, and she has covered the civil war in South Sudan, and Maternal Mortality in Assam, India, and Sierra Leone for Time Magazine." Because of her published photos, she has shed light to many conflicts and health-care related problems in 3rd world countries. In this picture shown above which she posted a few months back, Addario took a picture of a mother alongside her son who is being treated for malaria and anemia. People who view this picture grab a sense of how limited in health-care resources the African Republic has.
