Kneeling in the NFL over?

NFL just recently made a new policy stating that teams will be fined for having their players kneel during the national anthem. Kneeling during the national anthem was a protest against police brutality and racial inequality, the movement was created by former quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Many players followed along with the protest but faced a huge backlash because people that it was disrespect to other areas such as, veterans sacrifices, the flag, and the whole U.S. Now the NFL is putting an end to the protest because it “created a false perception among many that thousands of NFL players were unpatriotic." (NBC News). However, some players still plan to protest and are willing to pay the fines including owners words.  [1 image, 1 link, 1 quote, 124 words]
