KKK at California High School?
A CNN news article this week was about a high school student dressed as Ku Klux Klan member for a school assignment at Harbor Teacher Preparation Academy in Wilmington, California. When the teacher was asked why she would approve a KKK outfit for a project on school property she justified her actions by comparing the Klan to the Black Panther Party. One student said, "'it made me feel like unsafe and threatened.'" The unnamed high school freshman dressed up as former KKK leader Hiram Wesley Evans for his final project. The school board apologized for the incident although they did not respond immediately.
