Eric Abramovitz was truly devastated when he heard that his dream school, Colburn Conservatory of Music, had rejected him along with a full ride of 50,000 per year. Well, luck was on his side when his ex-girlfriend, Jennifer Lee, was ordered by the court to “[owe] him more than $265,000 (350,000 Canadian dollars) for damages including loss of reputation, educational opportunity and two years of potential income”. What did she do? Colburn University had accepted Abramovitz and offered the full ride to which Lee denied the acceptance and “deleted the acceptance email”. To top it off, she sent a fake rejection email posing as the instructor at Colburn. Her lies were found out two years later in 2016 when Eric and Yehuda Gilad, the instructor at Colburn, met at a graduate program. It might be easy to get away at first, but the truth will always be revealed eventually.
