Final Destination just came true yesterday night at Daytona Beach. The famous Sandblaster, a 40 year old rollercoaster, was derailed yesterday evening. The coaster sent two riders falling “34 feet”. This makes me not ever want to get on any type of ride at a fair again. According to the article the roller coaster was shut down last fall due to safety malfunctions but was repaired and ready to fling people off this summer. As rescuers were in action a man on the cart was begging other riders to calm down and stop moving, as more carts were loose and ready to fall. 6, people went the hospital and two are in critical condition.
