FIFA World Cup 2026

It has been confirmed in the early morning hours of June 13, 20018 that the 2026 World Cup will be hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada. The last time North America hosted the World Cup was in 1994 and it was solely hosted by the United States. The North American states were up against Morocco for the bid of the competition, but they won the vote 134 to 65. “The American federation spent more than $6 million, out of a combined budget of about $8 million, to bring the World Cup back to North America”, was the amount spent just to bring one tournament that lasts about 2 months.
