A Texas man plead guilty to stealing $1.2 million worth of fajitas while acting as a public servant. Article Gilberto Escamilla was employed at a juvenile detention center in San Benito, Texas until it was discovered that he had been placing orders of fajitas with county money and selling them for his own profit. In August of 2017 Escamilla ordered an 800 pound delivery of fajitas to the detention center, at first employees thought the delivery was suspicious until the delivery driver insisted he had been delivering Fajitas there for the past nine years. Escamilla explained, "It was selfish. It started small and got bigger and out of control."
