Facebook is under attack by many add posters saying that they are denying their adds due to political content when in fact, they do not have any political content. Mary Hanbary wrote an article for Business Insider about Facebook's new policy and states, " anyone running political adds on the social network must be authorized to do so by confirming their identity and location." The new bots that detect this sort of thing seem to be a little confused as to what is political. Many add posters that are posting simple adds for daycare, job fairs, and hair salons are being denied for political content. Facebook really has had a bad year with its new algorithms, and it seems that it is only getting worse. It's no wonder people like myself are dropping off the site altogether.
