Facebook is choosing to take a stand, it wants to
provide accurate information for its viewers, so it is using computerized and
human programs to scan for accuracy. This fact-checking network will “help fromindependent third-party fact-checkers certified through the non-partisan International Fact-Checking Network.” Currently the program is in 14 countries
around the world, and their hope is to reach many more before the years end. Their
plan is to expand this database not only to news articles, but also to videos
and images. While using this program, it has claimed helping reduce the amount
