John Oliver, the popular T,V host of "Last Week Tonight" gets blocked on social media by Chinese officials after taking a joke too far. According to NBC News, Oliver’s show on Sunday made satirical references to Xi and the way that Chinese internet users often joke that he resembles Winnie the Pooh" nbcnews. The youtube video of this show has been watched at least 3.3 million times and has been gathering attention from individuals from all around the world. As a result of Oliver's jokes, he is now and will more than likely remain blocked on social media from Chinese government officials.
