When looking for a companion to adopt such
as a dog, cat, etc. I highly recommend adopting instead of spending thousands
of dollars at a store or a breeder. When you adopt you not only are saving money,
but you are also saving a life from being put down. By the numbers “About 3.7
million animals held under the custody of animal shelters are euthanized every
year because there are no families that are willing to adopt them” (list25.com).
When adopting everything is included such as vaccinations, temporary dog food, neutered/spayed,
and microchip while when you just buy from a store or a breeder all you most
likely get is just the dog with a high price.
